The Hanna Instruments HI 98128W is a hand-held pH and temperature meter with automatic calibration, a replaceable electrode, automatic temperature compensation, a stability indicator, and an LCD screen. The meter provides readings from -2.00 to 16.00 pH (+ or - 0.1), with a resolution of 0.01 pH. It is designed for wine and beverage making, but can be used for other applications. The HI 98128W meter features automatic calibration with two sets of memorized buffers (pH 4.01/7.01/10.01 or pH 4.01/6.86/9.18), and automatic temperature compensation (ATC) for ease of use. An internal stability feature indicates when to take a reading, and a hold function allows the user to freeze the display to record results.
